Tucked between the Missouri and Big Sioux rivers, Dakota Dunes is a master-planned community just over the South Dakota state line that seamlessly blends businesses and residential properties. Nestled along the Missouri River in western Iowa, Sioux City is the state’s 4th largest city, a vibrant melding of midwestern hospitality and all the excitement of a major metropolis. South Sioux City

Nestled right next to Iowa and South Dakota in the Tri-State Region is South Sioux City, NE, “Where Quality of Life is a Cardinal Rule!” We are the portal to two Nebraska Scenic Byways: The Lewis and Clark Scenic Byway and the Outlaw Trail. Combs School was built in 1857 and closed in 1964. The frame schoolhouse is part of Nebraska’s pioneer heritage- the oldest school building in Dakota County and one of the oldest in Nebraska. The O’Connor House is a 14-room mansion located 1 mile east of Homer. Constructed over a 10-year period from 1865-1875, the mansion was built on a rock. Listed on the National Register of Historic places, it is run by the Dakota County Historical Society. Scenic Park has a YMCA, tennis court, swimming pool, 5 softball/baseball fields, 15 soccer fields and miles of paved walking and biking trails.
