New extended hours on Saturday into the evening to offer a more relaxed, adult-oriented atmosphere. Beer & Wine will be available Saturday 4-9 p.m.

Art Center’s ArtSplash is a family-centered art festival of exceptional quality that enriches our region’s quality of life by bringing the excitement of the visual arts to our community.

The festival will again be held downtown on the Art Center campus, making use of all of the Art Center facilities – the Atrium and galleries of the Art Center and the studios of the Gilchrist Learning Center.

Enjoy:

• Over 80 art vendors – shop from a variety of artisans
• Art for Adults Zone – enjoy a mosaic art activity for adults in the air-conditioned Gilchrist Learning Center
• Kid’s Art Zone – located in the air-conditioned Gilchrist Learning Center, art activities are free this year thanks to Great Southern Bank!
• Kid’s Fun Zone – face painting in the Media Room of the Gilchrist Learning Center, $6-$15 depending on design chosen.
• Engage the Community – informative and interactive area at the south end of the Art Center Parking lot. Participants Includes: Alley Art Festival Mural Wall, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland, Crittenton Center, LaunchPAD Children’s Museum, Mary J. Treglia Community House, Reach Theatre, Sioux City Public Library, Sioux City Symphony, Siouxland Artists. See website for days/times.
• Food Vendors – quench your thirst or satisfy your hunger: Berrybrook Dairy Nook, The Corn Dog Company, Fifty-Nine Grind Coffeehouse, Fuzzy Pig BBQ, L&L Kebab House, The Nut Hutte, Over Rice, Sazon Jalisco, T&J’s 2Fire, Tornado Funnel Cakes

Free parking available at the Tyson Events Center and Long Lines Family Rec Center.
