The Sioux City Sports Commission helps promote youth sports, high school athletic activities, collegiate athletics, Special Olympics, and other non-professional sporting events in the Sioux City area. The Sioux City Sports Commission was created to promote such previous, current, and future events as the NAIA Volleyball National Championship, NAIA Wrestling National Championship, NAIA Div. II Women’s Basketball National Championship, NAIA Baseball World Series Opening Round, USA Wrestling Olympic Team Trials, USHL Fall Classic, NAIA Softball World Series, and others.

To enhance Sioux City’s economy, image, and quality of life through the strategic solicitation, attraction and promotion of sports-related events.
