Looking for a unique experience for the kids? Come join us on Friday, August 9 at 10am—11am at the Betty Strong Encounter Center to meet drummer, performer, and educator Kofi Dennis. He believes in the concept of learning through play, so his interactive hands-on presentation of West African stories, poetry, and drumming will introduce instruments, music, rhythm and movements from West Africa. Some audience members may get a chance to play a drum. Admission is free.
