Step into a powerful and moving chapter of history at the Holocaust Rails exhibit located at the Sioux City Railroad Museum. This permanent display features a replica of a World War II-era German railroad boxcar—the type used to transport Jews and other targeted groups to Nazi concentration camps. Through artifacts, testimonial videos, informative panels, and preserved history, the exhibit honors the memory of the victims and serves as a sobering reminder of the atrocities of the Holocaust.
