In Due Time is a band from the Onawa, IA area. This talented group includes Amber Britton (Vocals/Acoustic Guitar), Johnny Vee (Vocals/Guitar), Jeremy Cameron (Bass), and Risty Bryce (Drums). What sets them apart is not just their music but the remarkable story behind their drummer, Risty.
Risty Bryce, a lifelong drummer, faced an unexpected challenge when a neurological disease took away the use of his legs in 2003. Determined to keep the beat alive, Risty, alongside a friend, developed Drum Sparx—a voice-activated drum trigger that enabled him to play the bass drum with a microphone. In 2013, Risty was able to return to the music scene and wanted to start a band. First up on his radar was Amber Britton. After one show together they brought in Jeremy Cameron. In Due Time spent 2 years as a trio before finally completing their sound with the addition of Johnny Vee!
Their playlist spans the decades, offering a diverse range of covers from the 60s to the present day, including iconic tracks from The Beatles, SRV, Sublime, Duran Duran, and Alice in Chains, among others. Their repertoire also includes their own originals.
