On Saturday, July 26, 2025, come experience “Monument Tales” at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. This free class is held from 11:00am-1:00pm and is open to any age. No registration required.

Participants learn the story of the life of Sgt. Charles Floyd, a member of the Lewis and Clark Expedition who was the only member to die on the expedition. Learn how the Floyd Monument came to be.

Finally, participants will build their own mini-monument.
