On Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 2:00pm at the Betty Strong Encounter Center, come be entertained by Tom Weisbecker and Barbara Sabella, aka "Folkish Folk." Admission is free with a reception to follow.
The duo will sing and play a mixed-bag acoustic set that may include cowboy, country, old time folk, blues, jazz, and whatever the spirit moves and grooves them to do. Backed by mandolin, guitar, banjo, and harmonica, they may have special guests drawn from the South Dakota Friends of Traditional Music crowd. Tom and Barbara play with the Sargent Creek String Band (led by Bill Peterson) every Tuesday night at the Wheel in Canton, SD.
