Join us at the Sioux City Public Museum for History at High Noon: Sioux City Waterworks, presented by Haley Aguirre, on January 15, beginning at 12:05 p.m.

We’ve all turned on a water facet, but have you ever stopped to think how it gets there? In this History at High Noon, discover how Sioux City’s water system has grown from the first downtown wells of the 1880s to the modern system we have today. Attendees will see historic photographs of many aspects of the water system including construction of the city’s reservoirs, water towers, and pumping stations.

Attendees are invited to bring their lunch to enjoy during this free presentation.
