Discover the unique high-contrast visual effects that can be achieved through this subtractive art form. Students will learn about the properties of scratchboard, scratchboard tools, scratching techniques, steps for transferring images to the board, and correcting mistakes and helpful tips and tricks.

This 1-day workshop covers everything for the beginner; however, students with scratchboard experience or who have taken the class before are welcome too. All required materials are provided and included in the cost of tuition; however, students may use their own supplies.

Open to high school students (14+) and adults.
