Whereabouts invites visitors to experience 25 years of creative exploration and observations from Siouxland artist Terri Parish McGaffin at Gallery 103.

 

About the Artist: 

Terri Parish McGaffin served as Associate Professor of Art at Morningside College, teaching studio art and writing courses from 2004 to 2019, and served as Chair of the Art Department and Director of the Helen Levitt Art Gallery from 2013 to 2019. She is now Professor Emerita, retired. She has worked as a professional artist for many years, and has exhibited recently at Northwestern College, the Norfolk Arts Center, The Washington Pavilion, the Sioux City Art Center and Wayne State College. Her work is in the collections of the Sioux City Art Center, Morningside University and the University of South Dakota, as well as many private collections.

Paintings are currently on view at Gallery 103 in the HoChunk Centre in Sioux City.

She has a studio at Gallery 103. Terri completed an Artist-in-Residency at Waubonsie State Park in March 2020. She was Artist-in-Residence at Whiterock Conservancy in April 2021, and in the Fall of 2024.
