We love Children and we love Families! We want to celebrate them by hosting our second annual Siouxland Digs Kids Event on April 27th from noon-2pm at Riverside Park here in Sioux City.

In honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, we are constantly seeking out ways to promote a healthy home life for our community. One of those ways is through quality time spent with one another as a family. When we spend time with our children, we are saying that we CHOOSE to spend time with them! Additionally, spending time together as a family does not mean that it should break the bank. This event is free to the public! We will have an inflatable obstacle course, a tiny-tots bounce house, face painting, a visit from the Sioux City Fire Department, and of course, our dig! Everyone will get a chance to “dig” for prizes at our designated dig sites. Prizes include: a BMX bike, courtesy of Albrecht Cycle, $100 Gift Card to Scheels, Experience passes to Sioux City Explorers, Adventureland, Launch Pad, Wild Water West, HUNDREDS of gift cards, and more! Not only do we want you to have fun with us on this day, we want you to win prizes that will allow you to enjoy more fun activities together as a family without worrying about the pocket book! We even will have a special debut of our very own mascot…THE CRITTER! Local food trucks will also be in attendance for food and drink purchases.
