Time:  12:05 pm - 01:00 pm

Presenters Dr. Stacey Alex and Dr. Wilfrido Suárez will share several Sioux City Public Museum artifacts documenting Latina/o presence in our area. While newcomers account for much of our recent population growth, we celebrate Mexican Independence Day by recounting how Iowa has been impacted by more than 100 years of Latina/o social, economic, and cultural contributions.

History at High Noon is a free, photographic presentation series held at 12:05 pm at the museum, presented by a local expert and featuring a different topic each month. Attendees are invited to bring their own lunch to enjoy during the presentation.
