Join us for History at High Noon: The Real History of Thanksgiving, presented by Bruce Forbes, on November 20, beginning at 12:05 p.m.
Thanksgiving is one of our nation’s favorite holidays, but most people do not know the true story of how it began, developed, and changed, and why. Morningside University emeritus professor Dr. Bruce Forbes has dedicated much of his career studying the history of holidays and will offer stories, historical evidence, and images, full of surprises.
Attendees are welcome to bring their own lunches to enjoy during this free presentation.
