Join us for Martoberfest, our annual Oktoberfest-style celebration!

When: Pre-fest on Friday, September 25th at 5pm. The fun continues Saturday at 11:30 am and lasts all day until 8pm.

Where: Outside at the corner of 4th and Virginia streets, downtown Sioux City. Just look for the big white Munich-style tent!

What’s happening:

Friday, September 25th:
We’ll have live music (artist TBA) during Friday’s “Pre-fest” along with Marto beers, featuring a few different German styles starting at 5pm. It’s a perfect way to kick off the weekend!
Saturday, September 26th:
-Live music starting at 11:30 am
11:30 am: Mike Langley
2:00 pm: Dane Louis
4:30 pm: Joe Donnelly

-German food
Brats with kraut
The OG giant Bavarian Marto pretzel
Meatballs ‘n gravy

-Stein holding contest at 4pm
We’ll sign up 10 women and 10 men starting at 11:30. Get there early to get your spot, or if you don’t participate, come watch our contestants test their endurance holding a 1 liter stein full of Martoberfest beer!

-Fun for all! Try your best shot at Hammershlogen to see if you can pound a nail into a tree stump with one swing of the hammer, and get a free beer from us if you do! We’ll also have games like bag toss, giant Jenga and Connect 4.

-Wear your Lederhosen and Dirndl costumes and we’ll reward you with a drink ticket!

-Commemorative Martoberfest steins for sale starting Monday of that week, September 21st.
