Time:  02:00 pm - 03:00 pm

On Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 2:00pm, the talented music duo Radio Rangers aside from playing favorites will debut their original song cycle about an Iowa legend, “Plow in the Oak.” Admission is free, but freewill donations encouraged.

Just outside of the Iowa town of Exira there is a horse drawn plow which an oak tree has grown around. The legend is that a young farmer was plowing in his field as the Iowa regulars (Union Soldiers) marched by. He leaned his plow against a sapling oak tree and joined them as they marched off to the Civil War; however, he never returned.
