As the wheel of the year turns and we arrive at the Spring Equinox, we stand at a threshold — a moment of balance between light and dark. In astrology, this is considered the true new year — a potent reset point underscored this year by significant cosmological events that are calling us, collectively and individually, toward greater accountability, deeper authenticity, and conscious participation in the world we are creating.
From the Andean mystical lens, we are entering the Taripay Pacha — the time of meeting ourselves again, the age we have all been waiting for, where transformation becomes embodied.
In yogic philosophy, the Kali Yuga, whispers that we are crossing into a new cycle — a recalibration of consciousness: a shifting of frequency, a remembering, a return.
From both the Andean and yogic perspectives, we are living inside a profound transition — what many traditions call the Great Turning. As the world reorganizes itself around us, we are being invited to do the same. To operate from our highest authenticity. To root into integrity. To release the paradigms of power-over structures that have shaped the old world and to release these structures that we have bought into.
We are quite literally being asked to dream a New World into being — in a right and good way.
To restore balance in our outer world, we must first tend the landscape of our inner world. We must cultivate harmony between our own light and shadow, our doing and our being, our inner masculine and divine feminine. The divine feminine — intuitive, relational, cyclical, creative — calls us back into sacred reciprocity with the Earth and with one another.
Ceremony is how we remember.
Let’s gather together to release the old and plant new seeds to tend on this Spring Equinox.
In the Andean tradition, a despacho is a prayer bundle — a living mandala woven from flowers, seeds, grains, sweets, and sacred objects. Each element represents a prayer, an intention, an honoring of the elemental energies that walk with us: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Spirit. Through the despacho, we enter into ayni — sacred reciprocity — offering gratitude and intention back to the web of life that sustains us. On this evening, you will create your own personal despacho.
Each attendee will make their own personal despacho (ingredients provided)
This 3-hour ceremonial workshop includes:
Opening circle and intention-setting
