In honor of the 20th anniversary of Tolerance Week, please join us for an encore performance of “Rise: A Journey of Spiritual Resistance.”

This unforgettable evening of music, poetry, and remembrance, presented by Ryan Haskins, features musicians of the Sioux City Symphony, Sioux City’s own clarinetist Ben Baron, and vocalist Loralee Songer. The powerful performance intertwines the music, art, and poetry of the Holocaust, honoring resilience and the enduring spirit of artistic expression. Originally presented 10 years ago to great acclaim, “Rise” returns as a fitting tribute to celebrate 20 years of Tolerance Week events. The performance will take place on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 7:30 pm at the Sioux City Orpheum Theatre. The performance is free and open to the public.
