Mountain Biking Trails at Cone Park

Nestled just east of downtown Sioux City, Cone Park boasts one of the Midwest’s most dynamic new mountain biking destinations. With over 10½ miles of soft-surface trails, riders of all levels are welcome—from serene beginner loops and tot tracks to expert jump lines and technical terrain.The park features a pump track, progressive jump zones, and gravity-fed trails designed to make uphill pedaling optional.

For riders seeking comfort and flexibility, Cone Park offers Friday through Sunday bike rentals year-round (season-dependent), including hardtails, full‑suspension bikes, e‑bikes, and youth models. A 500-ft carpet lift is also available (for a small fee) to give riders a break from climbing, making laps more accessible and fun.

The park is free to use—no passes required, just the cost of rentals and optional lift access. And don’t forget: helmets are mandatory, with additional gear (knee pads, elbow pads, full‑face helmets) recommended for more advanced trails.
